Ecoltech is all about the name: school technology. Through sound educational practice and a lifelong career in Education we aim to support students in cognitive learning. Because of a love for learning and valuing the uniqueness of every student we develop learning paths that are engaging and fun but also challenging.
Our passion is to help students thrive and become lifelong learners, that engage with learning material and experience content through practical application.

Our Story
In 1988 Willem en Marietjie Fourie realised the need to help students develop necessary skills to achieve their academic potential. Ecoltech was born and the main focus was on research and developing courses to improve perceptual accuracy, visual efficiency and reading ability through metalearning. The satisfaction in helping students to blossom academically through these interventions kept the company growing and motivated the development of the first Afrikaans South African computer reading program.
Ecoltech assisted several schools, universities and private institutions in starting reading centres to enable learners to gain learning and reading skills that improved their academic outcomes. Through training teachers and mentors the success of the program was exceptional.
Today many years later Ecoltech still strives towards enabling students to become independent learners. Students at our independent campus follow learning paths, at their own pace, in sciences and business. Learners have the option to study at the campus or complete their daily work online.
We also do assessments to establish reading ability with the Eyebraingym Solutions hub and conduct individualised Game Plans to improve reading ability.
We believe in learning through experience and give learners the opportunity to internalise concepts through practical experience.
